Eh, there have been a lot of butthurt fans that claim Donnie is a loser and are genuinely surprised he has the interest of good programs.

He’s a loser because he lost here . He has good programs after him because he’s talented. He gets to write th rest of his story because if it all clicks he’ll have an All-American level year somewhere….

I have to agree. He was the best player on a lousy team . He also seems to be a head case, and he better get that straightened out
at his next stop or his NBA career will be short if he makes it at all.

The team defense was better in the beginning of the season, when he wasn't playing. I don't think that's a coincidence.

I don't see the head case stuff. Didn't seem to cause any problems, just a case of a talented guy not making the most of it.

Is it crazy to say I would rather have a fourth year healthy Dual than a freshman banged up Mingo?

If UNC won't pay for an injured, elite player to sit a year why on Earth would we? There's 0 guarantee of an ROI year 2 when healthy so why pay year 1 when injured? He didn't initially pick us when healthy, why would we sign up when he's injured?

Unless he takes $0 NIL there truly isn't any reason to waste an open scholarship that could go to a warm body that will practice and play. This is the risk for NIL era players chasing bags and hopefully will give pause (but likely won't) to players committing to factories moving forward.
