I agree, but he can't be the only good point guard on the roster next season. This dude can play and I have no issue if he’s starting PG next year.

I'm telling you that Marquette had no serious interest in Womack. I have MU and Wisconsin sources. Yes, MU checked him out since he's local and plays at a school and AAU program that traditionally produces a lot of DI players. It was nothing more. Not true. Marquette was involved and about to offer when he committed. Wormack has a much better offensive game than Robert. Both are good shooters, but Womack is a much better creator, driver and passer.
Seriously though imagine a year next year when we bring in a different guy to run point and we don't have to expect we'll be watching a trainwreck. This dude can play and I have no issue if he’s starting PG next year.
Luke is solid but he is slow. I like him more as 2 and hope that we bring in another G who can get to the rack and distribute. Not sure if JJ stays or not but regardless we need to significantly upgrade the G position if we want a chance at competing.I agree, but he can't be the only good point guard on the roster next season.
Is that allowed under the current rules?Seriously though imagine a year next year when we bring in a different guy to run point and we don't have to expect we'll be watching a trainwreck.

If I'm Red, I don't see how you can possibly take the risk of starting an unproven freshman PG with your career literally on the line next year. This dude can play and I have no issue if he’s starting PG next year.
There will be another pg next year too don’t worryIf I'm Red, I don't see how you can possibly take the risk of starting an unproven freshman PG with your career literally on the line next year.
But then again, many of the roster decisions Red has made have not made sense.
A quality PG or just a PG? Very important distinction! I wish I had more faith in the program at this point, and can't wait for the day to be proven wrong. Cuse basketball needs to be good again! Haha! There will be another pg next year too don’t worry
If he’s slow the guys he’s playing against internationally must have cement boots on. He’s going by all of them.Luke is solid but he is slow. Facts. If I'm Red, I don't see how you can possibly take the risk of starting an unproven freshman PG with your career literally on the line next year.

I hear it will be Trey Autry. There will be another pg next year too don’t worry
It’s actually Cuserunner… he’s backI hear it will be Trey Autry.
Would be utterly insane by Red. Not sure why fans think that's a good move, even if he looks like Magic Johnson and Steph Curry had a love child in his current league. If I'm Red, I don't see how you can possibly take the risk of starting an unproven freshman PG with your career literally on the line next year.

Debut? He played 6 games for us.A 100% unsubstantiated rumor I'm starting is that Geno Thorpe found another year of eligibility and will finally be making his long awaited debut as PG2 next year.
Lets not get bogged down into facts or details please!Debut? He played 6 games for us.
Tyler Ennis was our unicornAgain, we're told guys can play. And I get it, maybe he'll be different.
But AGAIN, he'd have to be the anomoly in college basketball. Starting Freshman PGs simply DO NOT get to the tourney.
The TOP PGs from the top 25 from last year:
Dylan Harper - Rutgers - Losing Record
Boogie Fland - Arkansas - 15-11
Robert Wright - Baylor - 16-10
Jace Richardson - Michigan State - Doesn't start, they have other PGs
But sure, maybe this kid will be different, I guess?
Oh and he's not close to the Top 25
That was 11 years ago as well. Different world, college basketball wise.Tyler Ennis was our unicorn
Was it Cuserunner and CuseHulk that we thought was the same poster? It’s actually Cuserunner… he’s back
Geno Thorpe ejected to the portal before the portal even existedA 100% unsubstantiated rumor I'm starting is that Geno Thorpe found another year of eligibility and will finally be making his long awaited debut as PG2 next year.
