How the years have changed. No one mentioned Colgate or Cornell.

If either was FBS, I think that it would still make the list. Playing in a different subdivision is kind of a killer. It's sad that both de-emphasized. I think that took a lot of the air out of NY high school football. There was once a time where NY rivalries were fierce* and there was good reason for local talent to hone their craft. Unfortunately, that boat has sailed and the only remnants are confined to history books and crumbling stadiums.

*The stories of Syracuse students shaving Colgate students' heads and Colgate students shaving Syracuse students' heads are great. The same goes for what Ithaca once was during big Cornell games, when the entire town used to decorate and rally around the school.
