I thought rick mis-managed Siva's minutes.

He got his third with may 6 minutes left in the first half & sat him. So far so good (from their point of view).

I was surprised Siva did not start the second half. I thought he should have come into the game to get his rhythm for 5 minutes or so & just played very carefully on the D end. Instead he sat...and sat...and sat.

By the time Rick put him in he no longer had rhythm & wasn't much of a game factor the rest of the way.

I know in that situation Jimmy would have started a player w 3 fouls at the start of the second half & let him play for at least a few minutes to get back into the game flow.

Better to risk the 4 th foul than to risk losing the players effectiveness the rest of the way.

The reason why is because Siva can be trusted about as much as a toddler alone with a room full of matches. He could be the most puzzling, frustrating player I have ever seen with that much ability. Just a moron. Plays out of control at times. commits WAY too many foulf (and dumb ones at that) and rally hurts his team more than he helps them. When he picked up his third you could see the pain and anguish in Pitino's face because he knew it was a dagger moment for them.
