Pitt opens -11.5 over Syracuse

Pitt is a physical team. How can we expect SU to play well against such a physical team? SU hasn’t been very physical this year.

Down to -10.5 at FD
Do the odds makers (or gamblers) know something we don't? That LC is going to start, or maybe RC has transformed into SA during the bye week? [Or maybe we beat the B.Y.E.] I thought the spread would be going higher.

It is frustrating that the board insiders don’t have the connections they used to… unless they are being told to keep the Luke reveal under wraps.

I wouldn’t call myself an insider, but I hear things now and then.

I think all of the reasons above are true. Sometimes reality hurts and people bite the hand that feeds, sometimes stuff doesn’t need to be public, and if you’ve heard me complain about not getting a practice invite yet it is both literal and a metaphor.

But at the end of the day if locking stuff down helps Fran and the team, that’s fine, I trust their judgement on that.

If they only beat UNC and maybe BC this year they go 5-7 and that basically is in-line with a lot of preseason predictions.

I don't see the doom and gloom. People got excited after Clemson but with Angeli hurt it's a reversion back to expectations in August.

I gotta be honest. After reading your first sentence I put on my reading glasses and got all giddy…..sigh lol.

Haha sorry. The silence on this one is deafening. My gut feel is that there’s some other factor we don’t know or understand, e.g., “money don’t sit”. But that is 100% speculation.

That prediction was based on Clemson and SMU being top 25 teams. 9 wins were there with Angeli.

And losers don't get washed. I'm certain we can take it to the bank that FB will play the players who the staff feel give the team the best chance to win today. It isn't any more complicated or mysterious than that.

People keep saying this but since Colgate Rickie doesn’t sit at all. Not a half not a quarter not a garbage minute possession.

With all the changes in the CFB landscape it is OK to be suspicious of that.

And anyway he's building a program. If we only cared about today I don't think we'd be recruiting freshmen so hard we'd just go for the portal.

Auburn played a game yesterday with 14 yds in the 2nd half. They didnt change QBS
MIchigan lost because their big stud QB cant throw but they keep throwing him out there
Flo has gone a couple years riding a QB that can barely move the ball
Texas is riding the Mannin train to the end
Neb has lost with the Rioli train wreck decisions
Sellers threw for 120 again

People like to think flipping QBS is a thing when it really isnt

Can we go with the Villari wildcat offense again?

It can't be worse than what we're doing now, and
Nard-Dog probably still won't have any clue what to do about it.

Apparently it's like "Crane style" to Nardouchey -
When do right, no can defense.

What do we have to lose?

Is that spread the final score or after Rickie gets picked and/or fumbles twice in the first 6 minutes of the game?
