Nope, I don't work in the SUAD.
I don't care that he was on instagram during a game. I don't imagine someone running his official Instagram account liked a girl's photo for him on instagram --- that makes no sense and is a cover for him to deflect criticism. But in the end, being on instagram during a game isn't a big enough deal to need a cover for.
The articles mattered to me, unlike everyone else that has responded to this post since I posted again a few days ago, that in one season his own teammates and many around the NFL came to regard him as soft, lazy and lacking the passion to play the game of football. I thought the same of him when he sat out games at USC and I wasn't alone, but yet got a lot of resistance when I expressed that belief on here last year.
I admit I was excited and felt a bit vindicated when I recently saw the stories I just provided links to, which in my mind confirmed what I thought previously. In the grand scheme of things, it makes little difference in any of our lives and by posting it, I have given the impression that it matters huge to me. It doesn't and if I thought the reaction was going to be so negative, I wouldn't have posted it. There just isn't much else to talk about on this board right now.
A similar thing happened when I bumped a thread regarding Nick Montana in 2013. I guess most thoughts and opinions in threads on message boards get spewed out and forgotten pretty quickly and maybe that's all for the best. For these two threads, when I saw follow up articles in MSM that seemed to confirm to me points I had made on here, I mentioned them in follow ups to the threads and both times now, its taken on a life of its own and I've been bashed for it. So be it, moving on. I guess I'll wait for something SU related to happen to post again.
