Pitt's Donald wins Nagurski award, Diva Clowney shutout

Clowney is a waste of a roster spot in the NFL. Told y'all. If you play football and don't play at any level when you could, that's a good signal you will do that as often as you can. Clowney is soft and was a bad pick.
I wish you could say that to his face, you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. Lets hope Mr. Coleman from the basketball side of things does not follow you.

So microfracture surgery means he's soft and lazy? That link has ZERO to do with your assertion. Since I don't really care about Jadaveon Clowney I'll see myself out now, but your assertion is in no way backed up by that link.

How about that link? The kid is lazy and has now and had before no desire to play football, to succeed, to win. He got a big contract. That was his goal and once obtained following the draft, he punked it. He could have played and didn't in college and the same is true in the NFL. He was a wasted draft pick. When I saw the article today, it confirmed what I thought a good while ago. When I voiced that thought before, I got a lot of argument in this thread and others about how wrong I was. He was a horrible, stupid pick. The Texans will pay the price for a while. You can't make that error in that spot.

Different situations entirely. Coleman would give anything right now to be able to play. Same thing last year. Clowney could have played so much more in college and happily sat the bench. Same thing in the NFL. Clowney is happy to walk away from the game taking the misspent money that was given to him. He defrauded the Texans. I'm sorry but it pisses me off when someone with all the talent in the world doesn't use it and instead loafs his way out of the league. How many people would kill for that talent and that chance?

22 mil guaranteed. Is he faking the microfractures as well as torn meniscus? So glad you dug this up. This is why he should have shut it down at SO Carolina, imagine if he got the micros while still in College? Would have cost himself 22 mil all for a blowhard like yourself screaming Vince Lombardi nonsense who has watched too many Disney movies on an internet message board.

We get it, you think he's lazy, etc etc. Nothing has changed over than the guy has had two knee inuries his first year. That said he has his 22 mil, which somebody thought he was worth, and I am assuming 4-5 other teams would have followed suit

While his team was losing to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Jadeveon Clowney (or someone running his official Instagram account),
i stopped reading right there, for your point was lost.

and even if it wasnt someone in his posse doing the liking, who cares?? he wasnt playing nor was likely in the building when it was done.

hey dinosaur, do you work in the SUAD??

Nope, I don't work in the SUAD.

I don't care that he was on instagram during a game. I don't imagine someone running his official Instagram account liked a girl's photo for him on instagram --- that makes no sense and is a cover for him to deflect criticism. But in the end, being on instagram during a game isn't a big enough deal to need a cover for.

The articles mattered to me, unlike everyone else that has responded to this post since I posted again a few days ago, that in one season his own teammates and many around the NFL came to regard him as soft, lazy and lacking the passion to play the game of football. I thought the same of him when he sat out games at USC and I wasn't alone, but yet got a lot of resistance when I expressed that belief on here last year.

I admit I was excited and felt a bit vindicated when I recently saw the stories I just provided links to, which in my mind confirmed what I thought previously. In the grand scheme of things, it makes little difference in any of our lives and by posting it, I have given the impression that it matters huge to me. It doesn't and if I thought the reaction was going to be so negative, I wouldn't have posted it. There just isn't much else to talk about on this board right now.

A similar thing happened when I bumped a thread regarding Nick Montana in 2013. I guess most thoughts and opinions in threads on message boards get spewed out and forgotten pretty quickly and maybe that's all for the best. For these two threads, when I saw follow up articles in MSM that seemed to confirm to me points I had made on here, I mentioned them in follow ups to the threads and both times now, its taken on a life of its own and I've been bashed for it. So be it, moving on. I guess I'll wait for something SU related to happen to post again.

You better hope he doesn't recover.

Haha. He might and he might go on to be the best damn defender ever on the field. If he does, I was wrong all along. If he doesn't, I may still be wrong and he may truly have been injured all the times he said he was. I wish the guy no harm and know nothing of him personally. Just something to talk about on a cold snowy day literally half a year away from football games.
