My hot take is that Yasin Willis is supremely talented but the running scheme is just not a good match for him right now.

Hopefully they change things around. At the same time his pass catching has been terrible and I hope he improves on that.

Agree. Can see it at 20+ . Lots of talks to be had and NIL renegotiated or used elsewhere. I can honestly see the whole QB room moving on besides Filardi who’s a WO, and Carney.

Certainly some clean up on the back end or even what we thought would be front end.

I really like our WR room and it surely will be disappointing to see some names go, but it’s only natural we’ll see 3-4 move on.

That’s just the offense and there is about 12-13 guys.

Honestly, the amount of must keeps is very low.

To me he always seems to be trying to bounce it outside. For a big back like him you have to question how well he is seeing the field.

I think Willis is extremely overrated on this board AND the system doesn’t favor him.

He’s not leaving and we aren’t going to do better in the portal. He’s threw for 1300 yards with 10 touchdowns to 2 interceptions in 11 quarters. This is crazy talk. He’s at worst just a step below McCord. This is Fran’s guy and absolute crazy talk.

Those are guys I think would hurt to lose. That’s a really solid core. Guys that can play and contribute at this level. Obviously way more guys will stay than this. But these are guys I can see on the 2 deep next year and have really good potential or are really good now. Add a top 25 class next year. Add about 10 transfers or so that’s a top 25 transfer class and we’ll be fine with next years schedule.

Get rid of Elijah Robinson as DC. Get Angeli healthy and I think we could have a really good squad next year if we do these things

I like Cook too when Angeli is healthy. Every thing I’ve heard though is that there’s a chance he might not be back
