Point fixing scheme about to break

First thought….pointless if they continue to get off the hook. Im 100% certain theres more than a handful who are corrupt.

Absolutely. If all this comes down to is certain gamblers and former athletes I think it’s more than fair to have some skepticism and that they are picking and choosing who to go after vs cracking down on all of it.

Games involving the following teams were allegedly rigged or impacted, investigators say: Western Michigan University, Butler, St. John's, Tulane, East Carolina, McNeese State, Nicholls State, St. Louis University, Duquesne, La Salle, Fordham, SUNY Buffalo, Kent State, Ohio University, Georgetown and DePaul.

And Georgetown still sucks

This is why the line dropping so precipitously for the Florida State game freaked me out. Not casting aspirtions but these are dangerous times that can kill a program.

Buffalo
Coppin State
DePaul
Eastern Michigan
Fordham
Kennesaw State
La Salle
New Orleans

The other five defendants were described by authorities as fixers. At least two of the defendants, Shane Hennen and Marves Fairley, were also charged in a federal indictment in the Eastern District of New York centered on gambling schemes in the NBA.

Former NBA player Antonio Blakeney was named but not charged in the indictment. The indictment describes Blakeney as being "charged elsewhere."

The scheme, according to the 70-page indictment, began around September

Schools that don’t have a lot of NIL for their players

Just pushing back on you a bit. If you are 100% certain there are more than a handful of referees are corrupt and involved in point shaving, I’m assuming you have direct evidence to support your claim.

Or are you just being hyperbolic for the sake of your position on the matter?

Saint Louis being on the list isn’t good if we want to target Schertz as Red’s replacement. Hopefully the point shaving occurred before 2024 when he was named head coach.
