Alcohol at tailgate has to be in cups
Further drive from CNY
Group Ticket buy might be limited (expect sell out)
Hard to fly in to

Maryland

Pros
Opportunity to beat a P5 team
Easy to set up a group ticket buy
Easy to fly in to...but driving...
Parking fairly easy
Alcohol no issues on campus

Cons
Parking to stadium might be a long walk
Maryland fans can be nasty
Stadium is meh
Driving sucks around DC

As I plan on going to the game at Maryland, and the board tailgate I helped with there years ago went very well, I cast my vote for Maryland.

I don't actually remember the walk being all that bad from the parking to the stadium, though.

Yes, it is quite "other-worldly". I went to one of their games (but not as a fan of the visiting team) and there was a very strange vibe about everything.
I really don't envy your choices.

Maryland by a mile. A lot of their fans/student body are bad news, but the location's so much more convenient for many of us.

Oh, and I don't respect Liberty and wish SU hadn't scheduled them.

Yah, weird vibe for sure (creation "science" is definitely not conventional curriculum). MD sounds like a much more legit opponent and destination. I need an away game one of these days and the DC area is fun.

Wow, I'm surprised it's so close. Honest question - is there any appeal to Liberty other than convenience for people coming from points south? Or do people hate the horse-punchers and couch-burners in College Park that much?
