Going down a level is fine if the player keeps his scholarship and maybe gets more playing time. The concern was for players left without a landing spot.

Some voluntarily transfer some get pushed out the door. This portal thing is a mess, getting paid is one thing but creating funds cooperatives where players are getting paid for their talent and nothing to do with their name, image or likeness is establishing a system based on a lie with no common sense guardrails. It's created a mess that hurts kids, people, fans, alumni, human dignity, logic and any semblance of education. Let's fairly pay these kids while still honoring logic, simplicity, educational standard and yes some traditional sense of sound college football competition.

Playing with C/C+ isn't going to get it done.

Hopefully the additions bring it up to solid oline play and then you can scheme your way to production.
