Watched again our 1st half Offensive drives tonight to see what was going on:

Thought our OL was competent both run and pass blocking. Not great, but good enough to score some points. Thought TD really struggled this half, both with missed passes, not throwing quickly enough to open receivers (I distinctly remember a 3rd and 2 where he looked at Harris like he was going to throw him a screen for an easy 1st down and didn't and got sacked soon after), and making receivers dive for many of the completions, not giving opportunity for YAC.
Was impressed with Tommy's willingness and ability to run.

I am hopeful the ability to run even in the 1st half against FSU's 1st teamers gives us a shot in future games. 1st time I've seen us run the ball decently this year. The question is-What changed? Was it just Bergeron instead of Alexander?
Two things I noticed that I was happy to see that I believe helped:
1) Some misdirection-putting the receiver in motion as a threat to carry it for an end around
2) More outside runs instead of every run being up the middle. Believe they did this b/c they scared of Wilson, FSU's stud DT, but I hope it continues.
