Possible coach candidates...

The coaching D by Frost I like and especially if he's been good at it. You can tell by how Oregon's O is that he's doing the right things. A few games ago they were looking mediocre but they pulled that upset last week at Stanford then pretty much took care of USC at home today. Imagine what he could do for Dungy and Mahoney along with the rest of the O.

Read my latest info on them. His Defense was really good.

I think if Frost wants the job it will be his. His offense looks great and he has defensive experience. Has contacts in Florida and has studied under some impressive coaches.

I still want to give him 1 year for a couple reasons, but I think the writing is on the wall that he is gone. Therefore, I'm trying to see what options are out there and do some more in depth research on possible candidates. At this point I will be fine either way, I just really want to know which way that is.

Gotcha. Was really just curious.

Honestly, the more I researched, the more I liked him.

Hey Sizzle, don't u think Golden has lost some ...well, sizzle?

David Sutcliffe, Tommy Tuberville, Mike Leach, Rich Rod, Hayden Fry among many who did pretty well with another chance.

I don't expect Golden to be hired but he has a few accomplishments over his career.

  1. Golden led the Hurricanes to a 9-4 record in 2013 and a berth in the Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando - Miami’s first bowl appearance since 2010. Was 32-25 overall.
  2. Over five seasons at Temple, Golden took the Owls to unprecedented heights. Before his arrival, TU had just two winning seasons over its previous 26 years and had only won 22 percent of its games over the previous 30 years.
  3. recruiting coordinator under Joe Paterno

I'm all in on Frost, Babers, or Campbell.
If we go with a retread hire I'd consider Bo Pelini. Went 67-27 at Neb. and he's available. Strong resume compared to most realistic candidates we would be looking at.
