They could spend a 1000 years shooting them and yet once in a game it’s completely different. None of these guys struggle with FT because of lack of reps

Shooting foul shots in practice is pretty much useless unless there is pressure attached to it.
Like running a suicide for every moss out of 10. Miss 4 run 4 suicides.
During a scrimmage same thing.
Put a kid on the line. Make it practice is over miss it. Whole team runs. My coach did this and it helped.

That’s your opinion. Fans have the right to boo if they want to. You don’t have to like it. Players don’t have to like it. But spending your hard earned money to buy a ticket gives you that right.

At Cal looks like it will be around a more manageable 3 point dog.

The others will be around 7, 7, 15, 19 based on my quick calc's based on the teams current ADJEM, so yes all very solid dogs.

One of the unfortunate things of the new landscape is that its harder to draw optimism from a game like this in a lost season.

In the past you could look for positives for the next year from an inspired comeback like this. Now so many players likely cycle out it makes it harder to embrace those positives.

I mean we are now a middle conference team. Albeit in a 2nd tier league in performance this season, but I guess things could be worse. If we finish decently we can finish in the exact position as last season maybe not overall record but in the conference record.

I hate to break it to you but this has been the easy stretch of our ACC schedule. A lot of tough games are coming up.

I think the most angry I've ever been at a live game was when we played Georgia Tech at Giants Stadium back when Nunes was the QB. Troy took a big hit early in the game, and went to the sidelines. He sat out one play, and then came back in. He took another hit on the next play - and went out of the game again.

You just can't do that. Players know that you have to suck it up, unless you are truly injured. Take a little extra time on the ground before you get up, to gather yourself. But you have to get back up, no matter how hard they hit, or else it's just going to get worse. It was very weak sauce from your supposed leader.

But I did not boo. I yelled at him to not be so soft, such a baby. It's football. It's a violent sport.

I personally wouldn’t boo my team unless it was something diabolical. But I think those that choose to should be able to.

Well, Wake is 14-4, Georgetown is 12-6 and ND, while not a good record, has played some very good teams tough including losing to Duke by 8 and blowing the UNC game due to terrible coaching in the last minute.

3-4 is not great, but we started 0-3. We’ve won three of our last four games.

I don’t like it either, because they are just college kids. But now, they are professional athletes. So maybe it’s justifiable?
