I'm a cuse fan also.. my family has had season tix since day 1 at the dome and Manley before that and when I'm forking over alot of hard earned money for 4 season tix And donating I'll call them out for acting like they won the conference tourney..

In a season where they haven't performed very well, they came back from 17 down and won. Of course they are excited. Get a clue.

I think the only reason to boo your own team is if it appears that effort is lacking.

It's not bitching.. just saying it was a good comeback to win but it only made them 3-4 in the ACC and nothing more. I pointed out that they acted like they won the Acc tourney , I hope red got it out of their system and they know it's over and it's time to get ready for a much tougher team on the road. If they don't they will get beat by 25 Wednesday .. I'm sorry if I hurt your "feelings" with the post .. Guess some folks around here forgot how this program used to be

My man, you didn't hurt my feelings at all. Actually, I didn't say you were bitching, I asked if that is what we should be doing instead? It's a sports board so all kinda stuff is going to be said, sometimes over and over and over again. The guys got a win and celebrated, nothing to do with the past or whatever, not that deep.

yeah, your posts reflect how great a syracuse fan you are and your name does as well. We love having fans for other schools here. But your act has grown tiresome. It's certainly not sincere and it is at times childish. I have to go now to my other board. Tar heel nation. I am known there as BigOrangefan that also sort of likes the Tar heels.

We all know our boys aren’t doing good. That is perfectly obvious. So the only way the administration will get that is if we boo? People who are encouraging our team by cheering are not sheep! And I don’t cheer no matter what. I sit glumly and mutter to myself. But if there is any way I can help my team win, I will do it and that means cheering my tush off.

I disagree on this take. We were giving effort during the overall season and into this game that deserved booing. Majority of the booing is not personal, it’s fans that expect better from the team. Because they are better than what they’ve shown. Now during football when we are making noise on offense trying to communicate plays is a different story. Fans not showing up and not keeping the players honest should be a bigger indictment to the players and coaches imo.

I actually am as big of a fan of orange as I am Carolina and it's my bad if it seems like I don't think yesterday was a good win. It was a win and their hard play saved the game.. but this was an elite program and still can get back to being one again.. I'll just agree to disagree with the way the celebration was in the locker room after the game.. just hope they are all thinking about Clemson now

The fans that don't show up are terrible fans.
The fans that show up and have been the same dysfunction week after week, with no end in sight, and with the wagons circling to ensure that fans don't even THINK a head coaching upgrade is coming, are desperate.

The only people in that building not being paid to be there, aside from the walkons, are the fans. They have every right to make it clear they do not believe they got their moneys worth.

Fran Brown would not be here but for the fans, donors, and alumni who said enough is enough and voiced their displeasure in every possible way. The "nice to be here" cheerleading crowd means nothing when it comes to moving the needle.

I think the most angry I've ever been at a live game was when we played Georgia Tech at Giants Stadium back when Nunes was the QB. Troy took a big hit early in the game, and went to the sidelines. He sat out one play, and then came back in. He took another hit on the next play - and went out of the game again.

You just can't do that. Players know that you have to suck it up, unless you are truly injured. Take a little extra time on the ground before you get up, to gather yourself. But you have to get back up, no matter how hard they hit, or else it's just going to get worse. It was very weak sauce from your supposed leader.

But I did not boo. I yelled at him to not be so soft, such a baby. It's football. It's a violent sport.

I might not be understanding this correctly, but Troy Nunes was soft in your opinion? A long time ago, but I seem to remember Troy as a kid who made some questionable decisions running around and such, but a tough kid who gave it his all.
