Saturday, Williams got his 17th Sweet Sixteen tying him with Boeheim. Sunday, Boeheim got his 18th Sweet Sixteen.

Also, according to Wikipedia, Dean Smith has 20 Sweet Sixteens so Boeheim didn't pass him if that is accurate.

edit: It's kind of ridiculous that it was mentioned in the media because Boeheim was ahead of Williams going into the tournament, Williams tied him for a day, and then Boeheim moved ahead again.
