I actually thought we had a good chance to win this tonight. Unfortunately much of the game felt like an intramural run.

No big surprises though, we had a 32 game sample size for this team already.

Looks like we will finish the season with 0 quad 1 wins and 2-16 in Q1+Q2.

Thus ends the worst season in 56 years.


(From a different perspective— good luck to all of the guys that are no longer playing college ball after tonight on their next chapters.)

This season especially after the 3-0 start was the perfect example of how the phrase— “all that matters is we won” is so dumb unless it’s March madness and it’s truly just about surviving.

Yup. It was so obvious that this team was deeply and irreparably flawed right from the start.

It’s not even like LeMoyne and Colgate shot the lights out or anything. They both played mediocre ball yet were right there to win at the end.

It’s been 33 games of varying levels of suck.

The average P5 team was winning bottom half Q4 games (260-360) by an average of about 25 points in OOC. Our barely winning those games was a real warning right from the start.

The only name I care about is Freeman. He is the only real decision that matters. Moore can stay if he wants because he is young. I hope every other name hits the portal as soon as possible so we know exactly how many spots we have.

Seasons like this make it tougher to recruit. You get branded a loser. Just like long down and out pro teams, we will have to overpay free agents to get talent to come here. Hope we realize that and have the bag ready.

I gotta give some credit for any of you that stuck it out this season and stayed paying attention and watching. I gave up a long while ago, figured I’d tune in tonight, it proved how dedicated you are if you stayed engaged watching that trash all season. What a pitiful, pathetic team that is. Not a thing looked different than it did in December when I last watched them.

I’ve always been really sad (and sometimes so mad I had heart pain) when the Syracuse season ends. This year, it’s a relief and hope for better players, games to look forward to and hopefully a team resembling true Syracuse basketball.

I’m not confident about next season but I can’t imagine it will be worst or less entertaining. Good bye 2024-25. Finally.

I started going to games as a kid in the 1950s and it is hard for me to believe Adrian is ever going to be a good head coach. I am hopeful we will have better players and win more games next season but I have little confidence in Red's coaching ability. Go Cuse!
