I can almost guarantee you they don’t even practice it.That sidelines inbounds set was stupid. Why not have all ten players within five feet of the ball. HOW THE HELL is anyone going to get open? I expect more from a hall of fame coach. There wasn’t even a play, but just get open. There was not one screen set. The screener is always open.
Every statement you made is 100% true unfortunately. Best 3-point shooting team in SU history according to JB and BB and Girard go 4-18. Buddy probably under 30% for the year.Yes Swider was hit on the arm and should have had 2 shots. Welcome to life on the road.
I'm sorry but that was a well earned loss.
Inbound the ball in regulation with 10 seconds. Get fouled. Make a free throw. And win the game. When we couldn't do that we deserved the loss.
What difference does it make? This team isn't going anywhere.
terrible officiating but the fact that we cant run an inbounds play at that point is just inexcusably bad coaching
boeheim is done he's gotta hang it up
jim is a legend and i have nothing but regard for him and the family but the athletic department is bigger than him and at this point the results speak for themselves. he just can't get the job done anymore.I don't want to rail on our players they have been in every game and gave us a sweet 16 run last year.
I hope we can send the Boeheims off against Miami and honor them last game of the year.
Ah yes… but what was his TRUE fg %age ?Also, Buddy was 5-20
Can the JBIII as backup center experiment be done? We are not playing any more Ivy League games and ACC teams will just feast on that move.Where to start…
Officiating was awful. That wasn’t off Buddy. BUT… just don’t inbound the ball there. What were Cole and Joe doing?
Edwards out was, unsurprisingly, huge. And Frank not coming in sooner after that is ridiculous. Awful coaching.
Hey… we won the first 5’ of the second half though.
I’m sorry to say that unless there is some incredible run, it’s almost guaranteed that JB’s legacy is a guy who should have retired 10 years ago.boeheim is done he's gotta hang it up
Sorry, nobody else is ready. Ignore the effectiveness you saw from Frank on the court today. You don't see what he does in practice! Can the JBIII as backup center experiment be done? We are not playing any more Ivy League games and ACC teams will just feast on that move.
Beat me to it.That sidelines inbounds set was stupid. Why not have all ten players within five feet of the ball. HOW THE HELL is anyone going to get open? I expect more from a hall of fame coach. There wasn’t even a play, but just get open. There was not one screen set. The screener is always open.
Well, you have to try. I don’t see any evidence of an effort being made to improve very basic fundamental flaws of this team that should be easily correctable and do not require any significant degree of athleticism.jim is a legend and i have nothing but regard for him and the family but the athletic department is bigger than him and at this point the results speak for themselves. he just can't get the job done anymore.
That whole sequence was coaching malpractice. That sidelines inbounds set was stupid. Why not have all ten players within five feet of the ball. HOW THE HELL is anyone going to get open? I expect more from a hall of fame coach. There wasn’t even a play, but just get open. There was not one screen set. The screener is always open.

We haven’t been able to inbounds a ball for years . Historically we usually have our worst in bounders doing the inbounding…. Culminating a few years ago with Paul Harris disaster game at home vs PittThat whole sequence was coaching malpractice.
I can’t believe we’re staring down the barrel of the worse Syracuse season since 1968-69.
That’s because the goal isn’t to win apparently. It’s to make the HC’s job as easy and simple as possible (e.g., all zone, small rotation, all iso) and feature his sons.Well, you have to try. I don’t see any evidence of an effort being made to improve very basic fundamental flaws of this team that should be easily correctable and do not require any significant degree of athleticism.
JB is so stubborn I feel like this is almost necessary for meaningful change.I can’t believe we’re staring down the barrel of the worse Syracuse season since 1968-69.
Let’s just fast forward to next year, when his judgment isn’t clouded.
