Clean house and flip the entire roster. A new coach coming from another program will usually bring some of his guys, fill in the rest using the portal. Hopefully a winning team the first year and make a jump in the second year. Mark Byington of Vandy, who was the coach of JMU, did that. He was able to re-recruit lightly recruited tyler tanner who wasn't the SO tyler tanner of this year. That was his only connection to the previous coach's roster. Byington flipped the roster, brought in the guys he wanted, made tourney his first year, and will probably be a 4-5 seed this year
