People have said in all sincerity that ACC lacrosse may be the toughest competition in any conference in any sport in the NCAA, including SEC West football. And UMd's departure doesn't automatically make things easier.

I would beg to differ. I think UMd's departure does automatically make things easier, 6 top 10 teams to 5 top 10 teams.

Army should replace Maryland on SU's schedule for that weekend going forward.

Army wouldn't be a league game though.
I'm hoping UMd will be able to get Loyola back on the schedule in Syracuse's or Duke's spot - then just replace the ACC teams with Big Ten teams. Of course, Hopkins is already on the Terps' schedule.
