He’s on the team for one reason - dad’s money. A kid that played Class D basketball and didn’t do much scoring isn’t going to make the team better in practice.

It’s usually in their final year when developmental bigs really find their game and what it takes. Naheem is saying the right things and seems putting in the work. If this year can be that year and paired with Eddie then the 5 spot could be in great shape this year on both ends with minimal let down no matter who is out there.

I like that McLeod is so defensive-minded and takes pride in that side of the ball. Also like that the coaches are pushing him on being a more menacing rebounder. He should be cleaning up on the boards.

He’s the kind of kid you can’t help but to root for. The kind that deserves to have a great year and surprise everyone after being kind of an afterthought most of his collegiate career.
