Here we are again looking to hoops as a pick me up for an embarrassing display in football. This trend is getting old.

We went into the day thinking we'd be 6-1 and ranked by Monday.

The fact we weren't even competitive drove a lot of fans mad, I imagine.

I'll stay away from the football board until we get another victory.

Next week is the make or break game of the season. Va Tech at home, a beatable team at 4-3. Kyle must bounce back from the worst game he's probably ever had, since Pee Wee football.

If his quick releases have become so obvious that people can jump the routes like they did at Pitt, then if the line can give him a couple seconds, we have to call some plays where he pump fakes, and the WR does a stop-and-go route. Need to call a few of those, just to keep DBs honest, like you would call a screen to slow down a pass rush..

No, actually, a lot of the fans are actually ”mad” “mad” and that game was not the cause, but it did highlight the symptoms of many.
