For those saying GS can't throw I'd suggest watching this, it has nearly everyone of his plays passing or throwing the ball, also keep in mind this is as a true freshman in the SEC. He's far from perfect but he will be nothing less than an adequate thrower of the football with some room to improve. He might not be perfect but I'd be shocked if this team doesn't end up with 5 or 6 wins when the season ends with him at the helm.
What’s most impressive about this tape is his improvement of throws throughout the season.
As the games went on his throws became better and more on time.
GS biggest struggle on throwing is he has one type of pass, a bullet pass from what I see. He will need to work on touch passes etc but I’m excited to watch him grow.
The biggest difference right now is when GS has the ball, you believe that he has a chance to do anything with it.
When TD has the ball….in my personal opinion I have no confidence that he can move the ball. TD has hit his ceiling in development, at least at with this coaching staff.
I don’t think any of us out here think GS is our savior and that he is a massive upgrade to TD, but we at least think he’s a bit better with a shot to get us maybe 6 wins, if we are lucky
