Pur-Didn't

Sure, but it was the quietest 61k I’ve ever heard

The dome is MUCH louder with only 30k than that stadium ever was at any point

the only time they got loud was when they were booing calls that looked pretty obvious. it honestly got weird by the 4th Q. I get booing calls or being biased but that was prob the worst/least IQ i have ever seen an opposing fan base regardless football or basketball crowd. It was almost like they didnt know the rules.

They booed when we had defensive players get injured as well. Not that they are a real hurry up team. Felt like parents weekend really helped that sell out and lots of people were very casual fans.

Yeah, this.
Classless, and ignorant.
They even booed when the player hobbled off - I was like, WTAF???!!!!

It's not like they were doing HUNH and our guys were faking injuries to slow things down.
(cough, cough - looking at YOU, Llvll)

Then their classless coach, calling those TO's after the game was out of hand.
Including right after Shredder's 2nd amazing hidden ball fake, where he jogged and then slid, rather than rubbing it in with another TD.
Total BS to call TO after that.

I was there and I thought their fans were ok and the atmosphere was good. The stadium is nice (on a nice day) and tailgating was good. Yes, they booed when our guy got hurt but it was brief and they probably thought we were pulling a Louisville on them. They then realized the guy was really hurt and stopped. They did whine a lot about penalties...even no-brainers. They didn't have stupid rote cheers (which I view as a positive). The striped engineer outfits fans wore were awful. The stadium bleacher seating was cramped, more so than at our dome. They had a giant video screen which I think is new. They haven't won a B1G championship since 2000 so factor that into their enthusiasm. The campus is nice and we ate at a place near campus called "Harry's Chocolate Shop". Sort of a cross between the original Hungry Charley's and Ithaca's old Chapter House though a little nicer than both. Our waitress was outstanding. I'd love it if SU had a place like that.

You could hear those scumbags booing our players on the TV … once a trash program always a trash program. Brohm set the tone last year for Douchebaggery … some of the players apparently still carry the torch.
I have no love for Purdue but they were booing because they thought it was a fake injury... stall tactic. Once they realized it wasn't, they stopped. When SU played Louisville a few years ago, the Louisville players actually did fake injuries to slow things down. Many Cuse fans booed for the same reason.

Heard you guys on the tube . Awesome job !!
We were small but enthusiastic. And Obie9 worked with the Purdue ticket office so we ended up seated right next to the Cuse parents' section. The highlight was Enrique's "little" brother's football team joining our tailgate and sitting near us and definitely added a lot of energy to our cheers!

IOn TV you heard it during the Wax injury and twice with Darton at different points in the game … nope they’re scumbags for sure. If they were running tempo maybe … they just took the ass whipping personally …

Nothing better than the opposing stadium takeover.
I was about 10-15 rows right behind where our defense was sitting on the sidelines last season at Clemson. When Jahad took that fumble to the house and the guys were still going crazy on the bench in a silent Death Valley... still gives me friggin gooseumps. So cool.

As long as our fans aren’t looking like this by the end of the game it don’t matter how many we have in the dome

My girlfriend dumped me when we started to get close and she found out what my stadium capacity was. It was humiliating.
