I was there and I thought their fans were ok and the atmosphere was good. The stadium is nice (on a nice day) and tailgating was good. Yes, they booed when our guy got hurt but it was brief and they probably thought we were pulling a Louisville on them. They then realized the guy was really hurt and stopped. They did whine a lot about penalties...even no-brainers. They didn't have stupid rote cheers (which I view as a positive). The striped engineer outfits fans wore were awful. The stadium bleacher seating was cramped, more so than at our dome. They had a giant video screen which I think is new. They haven't won a B1G championship since 2000 so factor that into their enthusiasm. The campus is nice and we ate at a place near campus called "Harry's Chocolate Shop". Sort of a cross between the original Hungry Charley's and Ithaca's old Chapter House though a little nicer than both. Our waitress was outstanding. I'd love it if SU had a place like that.

I lived in Ithaca in the early 90s for about a year. I would go for a run down the road on the trail near Flat Rock on the creek. On my drive home, I would stop at the Chapter House for a few. Loved it.

When I was in college, lived down the road on Stewart Ave, a short distance from the Chapter House. Cool place!

Haven't thought about that place in awhile, so thanks for the reminder prompt!
