Purdue at VaTech

Sorry if this was discussed previously:

Do we want Purdue or VT to win?

Does a 0-2 start for Purdue give them extra incentive to play harder vs. SU or does it put them at a disadvantage under a rookie head coach?

Personally I want Purdue to lose. I think SU is the better team regardless but I’d like to face them while they’re in a 0-2 hole.

I think the ACC needs to win out of conference games. I hope the teams that are mouthing off about leaving lose all in conference games.

VT losing helps our position in the ACC. Purdue winning helps our SOS. An SU win over Purdue will look better if they were 1-1 vs 0-2. Want Purdue over confident going into our game.

And when all else fails, remember VaTech is the reason we were kept out of the ACC for 10 years.

They should have blown Fresno's doors off. Scary team if they are 0-2 I think we want them to win. It'll be a real close game with some lead changes I think.

Purdue has 2-3 high level play makers, You have to slow them down. On offense we need to block better but their D has not come together yet for sure.

Neither Purdue winning or losing changes perception from outsiders all that much, so I'll say I want Va Tech to win. Any respect we're going to get is going to come from the midseason gauntlet combined with our overall record.
