I’m not sure I see the value in having 3 QBs that talented unless the staff feels Angeli won’t be fully healthy. There’s a LOT of holes to fill at pretty much every position. That’s a lot of money for players who shouldn’t hypothetically play

He played against Taron Dickens’ West Carolina this year. 49-47 in favor of Atkinson and Mercer, with the two QB’s combining for 994 passing yards and 10 passing TD’s. Fun one to watch if anyone is bored.

The ending to this at 2hr 55 min mark is chaos. Clearly the refs signal missed FG but the cheerleaders/mascot for Western run the flag in the end zone, half the student section runs out on the field, and even half the WCU players seem to think it went in despite a few western players at the LOS including the kicker dropping to their knees in agony. Always felt like this was an either / or between Odom and Atkinson. May have also been a "first to commit" situation.

No way they were going to the same place, where one or both might end up sitting anyway, depending on Angeli.
