QB depth can change in a heartbeat. With Lamson getting hurt, we really didn’t have much of a backup. This is a huge pickup. It seems the coaching staff feels the same way.

Was it Shafer that promised a QB that he wouldn't recruit other QB's, then the kid switched to Nebraska? We've often been thin at QB but it's not looking that way this year. Hoping that the competition will produce a QB that will lead us to a bowl. Consigliere's NIL fund is already paying dividends.

Think we have a winner. As tough as Shrader was last year he had 3 games of 65 yards passing or less, that's not going to work at this level. Bringing a talent like this in is a no brainer for this team.
