Football player named Finkel, eh?
Football player named Finkel, eh?
Pretty sure Patrick Coan is a younger brother of Jack Coan. He isn’t really athletic and throws with a weird side arm slinging motion.Football player named Finkel, eh?
His film seems to be very good. Seems to hit his receivers in stride, no idea level of competition. But if he is a great lacrosse player he has be be an above average athlete. And he looks like he can run, which gives the OC more options.
Rather see him on our lacrosse teamDon't count this kid out. He played D3 so the size and athleticism of completion he faces will be a BIG jump in the ACC. Joe is on the smaller side at just 6'-1 180 lbs so he'll need to add some more bulk obviously. But he is a heck of an athlete and competitor. His Senior season was even more efficient, both passing and running, than his junior season. Has some similar traits to Carney but a tad smaller. Staff definitely is looking for some athletic ability at QB.

Edited to add rushing
Well maybe if starting at QB doesn't look too promising he goes back to lacrosse again.Rather see him on our lacrosse team
He absolutely will, probably will be a starter defenseman for laxWell maybe if starting at QB doesn't look too promising he goes back to lacrosse again.
He is going to try to play both Gait and Fran got together on that.Rather see him on our lacrosse team
After freshman year, iirc.He is going to try to play both Gait and Fran got together on that.
He's first a Lax commit so he'll sign with Lacrosse. He still coming?
Meaning he will play which sport after freshman year? So just lacrosse as a freshman then add football after that? After freshman year, iirc.
I could have sworn I read it was the opposite. Focus on football freshman year then work lacrosse in sophomore year. I can't find anything about it though so might be old age.Meaning he will play which sport after freshman year? So just lacrosse as a freshman then add football after that?
I think you're right. He's football first and then lacrosse.I could have sworn I read it was the opposite. Focus on football freshman year then work lacrosse in sophomore year. I can't find anything about it though so might be old age.

That must be it. ThxFilardi has always been lacrosse first. You two are thinking of Wyatt Bowman out of Georgetown Prep who signed as a tight end but was also a former top 50 Lax middie. He’s the player who will focus on football & putting on weight as a frosh but didn’t rule out playing Lax later in his career.
Will Wyatt Bowman try to become Syracuse’s next 2-sport star? ‘That might be hard’
Bowman, a Syracuse football commit, is ranked as the No. 20 lacrosse recruit in the country by Inside Lacrosse.www.syracuse.com
