QB Justin Lamson Portal from Stanford

QB play today is multifaceted. Reading D's making the right decisions and sometime a rifle arm to complete a pass in tight spaces. Many a qb has had great success mastering the mental side and being only average in the arm department. Brock Purdy anyone?
IMO (not an expert nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night), but I think arm strength ranks behind: FB intelligence, anticipation, ability to create time by moving in the pocket, reading defenses, and leadership.

I remember you and I talked after the game. They weren’t ready to play
Yup. Very poorly prepared. Maryland ran their standard RPOs all game long and our defense acted like they had never seen that offense before.

No adjustments.

Maryland knew exactly what we were going to do on offense as well.

We thought we have a big advantage with coaching going in. That was not the case.

Eh, I mean, Locksley still sucks.

It's weird to me how some guys like Lampson leave and get all kinds of love and have fans, and other guys leave for way more valid reasons but get dumped on for the decision.
If Lamson had stayed, he would have been the starter when Shrader got hurt, and would have played at minimum half the season and a bowl game. SU probably would have won an extra game, and HCDB would have been retained. More than likely Lamson would have started this year as #1. Strange how things work out.

It all depends on how much we wanted to keep them.

So you're saying he gets a statue next to Umari's?

Lamson to Clamson?

Wasn't Stanford using him in short yardage packages kinda like we did with Vilari??
