I know this may be obvious, but is he the son of the Olympian Michael Johnson. He doesn't run like him, but he's damn fast.
 

Maybe we kick the tires? We have at least something going for us here.
 
No thanks. Doesn't seem like he's ever even played QB or completed a pass in college
23 rushes for 149 yards and 7 TDs last year. Could he be the mystery running back?

Redshirt Junior (2023)


  • Returned to the fields with limited ability during the spring and was near 100% for the season opener
  • Saw first collegiate action at Clemson with four carries for a total of seven yards, including a two-yard touchdown run and a solo tackle
  • Worked into the game plan at Illinois recording a carry
  • Was a part of the Owls' inaugural AAC game and victory over Tulsa
  • Inserted into the action, with three carries for a total of 17 yards and two scores versus USF
  • Recorded an eight-yard carry and was credited with 25-yard kick return versus UTSA
  • Carried the ball five times at Charlotte tallying 45 yards, including a 19-yard score and attempted one pass
  • Saw action with three carries for a total of three rushing yards and was included in multiple drives at UAB
  • Scored the only TD for the Owls versus ECU with a three-yard run

  • As a senior, led his Sheldon team to an 11-3 record, throwing for 1,821 yards and 19 touchdowns against just three interceptions
  • Added 1,290 yards on the ground – with seven games over 100 – and tabulated another 18 scores

Wonder if he could be an backup qb option?
