Ethnocentrism is alive and well. Much of which is driven by arrogance and, in many cases, ignorance of other geographically and culturally different areas.

I travel 2 or 3 times a month for work and I find the differences fascinating. In particular, I love the South where the people I meet are the complete opposite of the standard stereotypes.

Ignorance is bliss. As they say in the South "Bless his/her heart".
