Ethnocentrism is alive and well. Much of which is driven by arrogance and, in many cases, ignorance of other geographically and culturally different areas.Not my point. Some folks are derisive of southern and midwestern culture and mores, while ignoring, or being ignorant about similar rules on the books where they live.
I travel 2 or 3 times a month for work and I find the differences fascinating. In particular, I love the South where the people I meet are the complete opposite of the standard stereotypes.
Ignorance is bliss. As they say in the South "Bless his/her heart".
