Does Madei pronounce his name Ma-day or Ma-dee ?For those that don't know, Madei is a QB coach now but back in the day, he was also a quarterback at Syracuse.

Mayfield, Caleb Williams, etc..Yeah I didn’t know what to think considering the offers and the fact he was a WR previously, but watching his film obviously there are things to work on but I do believe the concept that larger schools shied away due to the height is reasonable. He can play.
Bryce Young was the #1 pick, and he's a Smurf. I think height is overrated in cfb.Mayfield, Caleb Williams, etc..
I feel like speed and strength are more important in CFB if we’re not concerned about draft status.Bryce Young was the #1 pick, and he's a Smurf. I think height is overrated in cfb.
Rich is also really intelligent.we can win with this kid. He might not have the prototypical measurements, but he is a winner. His arm looks adequate and his ability with his legs makes him hard to defend. I wouldn't be surprised to see him starting in a few years.

He is going to be an interesting player to watch. I suspect he will find a way to become a factor on this team.
Agree Russell Wilson typewe can win with this kid. He might not have the prototypical measurements, but he is a winner. His arm looks adequate and his ability with his legs makes him hard to defend. I wouldn't be surprised to see him starting in a few years.

Agree that draft status is less of a factor in cfb. That said, (unlike HS) he'll have to throw (and see) over an OL packed with guys that are 6-4 to 6-9. That could be an issue. Either way, he's a talented player who'll be given a hard look at QB or another position that fits his skills.I feel like speed and strength are more important in CFB if we’re not concerned about draft status.
So interesting thing about Wilson, he has huge hands. Tends to be a trend among shorter QBs that make it.Agree Russell Wilson type
