Pffft, what a pile of clown schools we are up against...
A few thoughts here. Beals does not have ideal size but that is about it. (Statistically Lott is actually slightly more accurate and bigger too).imo would be an ok reach for a 2nd QB, but a QB class of him and Lott doesn’t really excite me. One is big, but inaccurate, the 2nd accurate, but small. If you want to land the receivers they’re after I think a name QB in the class would be a good start. Neither one are really needle movers.
Agree. Just not sure if there is room for him or not. He has lots of offers but all seam to be from 2024. It appears we are the only college he took an OV to per 247. Looks more accurate than his stats show. But his offense does appear to throw a lot vertically. Almost no short stuff shown in his film. No quick outs or WR screens etc. He has nice athleticism, and instincts running and can make people miss. After watching his highlights, his rushing stats on max preps have to be incorrect unless he took a immense number of sacks. it says he only had 80 yds rushing on the season.A few thoughts here. -Beals throws a very catchable ball, and only puts zip on it in tight windows when he has to.
-throws a nice deep ball. And averages 15.6 yds per completion. (Part of why he only completes 56%). The highlights show lots of multiple verticals. Only Jaxson Dart did that last year. McCord was about 12 yds per completion and Ward 14 per.
Most importantly he stands in the pocket and delivers accurate passes knowing he is getting hit. That combined with his running instincts, are to me very impressive. But if Bama, PSU, Ohio st. USC etc like him, that’s probably a sign he is legit.
This would be a great add if we get him.
A package deal?
If I had a nickel...Quite a package
Some sites have him listed as 6'1" and some 6'-2". His hudl is probably old but lists him as 6'-0" and his twitter lists him as 6'-2".Beals is 6'2". Plenty big enough.
Saw that on his rushing stats too. It had to be wrong because he had several rushing tds on his highlight film but listed as no rushing tds.Agree. Just not sure if there is room for him or not. I think this picture with Dion should give a pretty good idea on accuracy. Dion's height was listed at 6'1" so I'd say 6'2" sounds pretty accurate for Semaj.

This is good to know. I have downgraded the flag from burnt sienna.Eastern PA was under a tornado / flood watch yesterday. Explains why he bumped his original announcement from July 12.
