imo would be an ok reach for a 2nd QB, but a QB class of him and Lott doesn’t really excite me. One is big, but inaccurate, the 2nd accurate, but small. If you want to land the receivers they’re after I think a name QB in the class would be a good start. Neither one are really needle movers.

He's listed at 6'1 190... Not the prototype NFL QB size, but not Doug Flutie either.

This wouldn’t surprise me, given how many commits we have - hard to figure out exactly where this kid should really be “ranked.”

He lists offers from 15 P4 schools (including Bama, USC, and Ped St.), but we were his only official visit.

His only reported unofficial visits in the past 8 months have been to Iowa, South Carolina, and Bama.

His lack of official visits and recent reported unofficial visits makes me think a lot of his offers are outdated/ uncommitable, or a lot of these schools have told him he’s a “plan B” if something opens up at the 11th hour.

Still a lot to like about his tape though, and if the coaches like him and he’s pumped to join the Cuse - I’m on board.

I've read through these pages but still not sure how valued this kid is to us. Pardon my ignorance on the recruiting trail, but would this kid really be a big get for us considering what we have in the QB room? It doesn't seem like he would get a chance to start anytime soon (and I doubt with the big boy programs either) so why so many offers?
