I’ll judge how any portal year goes based on the record the following year. Hate to lose possible good players and zero idea if this is the case. But if players weren’t putting in the effort or showing concern about getting their butts kicked each week. I’m fine with turning over the roster.

This ^^^ ERob is definitely liked by the defensive guys, that's why he has a strong reputation as a recruiter. Seeing this guy jump should not be a surprise. His DC and Dline coach are gone.

Same. I would trade our entire defense for Toledo’s in a minute too. Jimmies & Joes matter, but if the X’s & O’s are terrible, they don’t mean much.

Yeah I was a bit perplexed by his inability to get on the field considering how bad our line and edges were.

It's tough to start or be on the two deep on either line.
Might be he thought he was going to get more time next year and maybe he doesn't like the plan for the dline this year.

My exact reaction. Nissi and Nyandoro are the guys we don’t want to lose. Two huge, athletic Canadians the staff loves. Can’t lose them. If you are the staff you pick your battles. They didn’t want to lose Gillian’s either. High ranked kid from NY, we fought until the end in recruiting to keep. But it’s gonna happen this day and age. Just don’t lose Niss, Pray and Nyandoro from this class along the D-line and that’s fine
