The media loves Scott Marr but with 5 years of the Thompsons including 3 years with all 3 Albany has 2 NCAA tourney wins. Embarrassing. If that was Desko there would be a riot. For all the hype about the Thompsons they won pretty much nothing outside of the America East.

I think the only year they may have been different would have been last year. Other then that I don't see a huge difference. 2012 SU was hurting, 2013 title game, 2014 probably final four with thompson, 2015?.

Albany gets the Gonzaga college basketball love and come tournament time never does anything. Last year was more of a choke, but that program should have made atleast 1 Championship week run and didn't.

Thompson got beat up. He couldn't get a call until they finally did halfway through the 4th.
