To Lewis’ credit, if KS wins a bowl this year I’d be surprised if he’s not onwards and upwards in 2021 already. Maybe to a school like Cincy if the NFL or blue bloods knock on that door.
Call me crazy but I don't want us hiring coachs because they beat akron, I root for them every week and even took them plus a million against penn st a few years back, with that being said under no circumstances do I want him hired as our head coach. I'd take will muchamp or todd graham at this point, we need to build some sort of base and both guys could get us to 6-6 IMO.
How about will muschamp, IK he got fired but he could make consistent bowls which is all we want, we'd do the basics right and be competitive, depending on how hawaii does I'd talk to todd graham, he's making nothing their and would be cheap after eating DB's huge contract
You realize Kent state has had one good year since like 1988. And they have one bowl win in almost 100 years and it’s with Kent. They also have the lowest attendance in FBS and have an auto 3 losses in OOC. What Lewis is doing will get him a P5 job. We will be sorry if we don’t get him

What has Nick Monroe done to deserve any of the reputation he has on this board? Name one player in the secondary that has IMPROVED year over year. Cisco? No. Foster? No. Coley? B. Clarke?
First of all, he doesn't coach the corners and hasn't in several years. Second of all, considered best by who and based on what? I see a defense that gets carved up through the air week after week, year after year and gets more interceptions than average. Does that really indicate quality?

Yes. Name a guy who has improved at safety in the last 5 years. Cisco made an immediate impact as a freshman but never built beyond that. Foster got endless grief on this board for 3 years. Stritz, Coley, and Clarke never showed improvement enough to see consistent time.
Of them id argue for Coley but that’s about it. He’s been hampered by injury. Monroe brings in talent, he doesn’t develop it. But its inarguable hes a big part of what has worked recruiting and we need him at this time.
Who cares if he brings it in but doesn't develop it? Developing it is EVERYTHING at Syracuse. We have 1 win in this travesty of a season because no one has developed.

We have 1 win because our offense is non existent to the point where it hurts our D. Our player discipline is questionable and yet again our conditioning is laughable. Id criticize the safeties and ends if I had to pick out a d group that’s underperforming but the fact of the matter is Dino’s offense has resulted in more worn out hurt defenders than it has touchdowns. Im sorry to say that.
