Tim Brown is claiming that Bill Callahan hated the Raiders so much that he sabotaged the Super Bowl (against Tampa Bay coached by his buddy Jon Gruden) by completely overhauling the game plan on the Friday before the game, going from a run heavy plan that was practiced all week to a passing offense.
He said that Barret Robbins freaked out about it, leading to his disappearance. However, Mike and Mike had Zach Crockett on this morning who said that the game plan was changed because of Robbins going AWOL. [Full disclosure: Crockett still works for the Raiders in some capacity]. Expect to see alot more ex-Raiders asked about this. Too bad Wheatley's not around here anymore - he was the main player that lost action due to the change. Now that he's back in the NFL, I'd expect a vanilla answer from him.
