Yea, he was playing there during the fanfest when Brisly was injured and did a very nice job.

Raymon is a great story. But I'd caution anyone who thinks either he or Avant is going to make an impact on Friday.

Avant was upper body, so his legs should be ready to go, from the sounds of it he has been close to playing for most of the year, so game speed would be the biggest issue. raymon playing at all is pretty shocking.. glad to see , if he could just give us 5-10 snaps a game that would be huge.

Yep and we had 3rd and 3 prior to that in the 1st quarter. Then our great OC called a running play that Gulley got stuffed on...smh.

I can't imagine the Keenan Hale was in the game against ND on a 3rd and 3. You have West, Estime, Ishmael, Lewis, Fleming, AC, even Funderburke available, and Hale is in there?

That makes no sense.

gonna say give Kobena a shot, when he was a soph he was decently productive and still Remember that long td catch closing the 3rd quarter couple years ago vs NW. Anyone else think Kobena should give it a try?

I believe the TV announcer's referred to Hale on the penalty. This explains it then

I thought Avant looked the best of the receivers at Fanfest. Of course that was one practice

That ref did say 16. I thought it was pretty clear. But it was also clear that Hickey was the one who moved. So Hale's name was put on the screen.

He does play regularly on KO/punt coverage teams. The poor kid's hands make AB's look like Biletnikoff's.
