Class of 2023 RB Ahmad Miller (TN) TRANSFERRING TO SYRACUSE (1/7/26)

Heard he was on campus. Over 1,000 yards rushing this year. Not much of a pass catcher though. Good size at 6’ 210 pounds. Decent speed, good pass protection blocker. Would be a good #2 or #3 for us.

Will Nixon is coming back most likely. So Will Nixon and Peyton Lewis would be my preferred Running Back duo. Then this kid as our number 3

1,000 yard rusher with two years of eligibility. But as CuseMan says above, looks more like a #2 than a lead back.

It sounds like UVA folks don’t think they are getting Lewis which would be good news for us.

Honestly a pretty good trio right there. I’m one of those that actually is higher on Will Nixon.

Nixon still needs to get his waiver approved

Good couple of days for the offense. Big bodied talented receiver in Weaver, big time Tight End in Smith that played his freshman year but was not utilized correctly at South Carolina and was a big time recruit. Likely RB2 or 3 in Johnson. Hatcher coming back which is good if he’s healthy.

Really need to start stacking on the defensive side. Which I’m pretty sure we already have a couple guys in the fold but just haven’t announced yet
