I think everyone recognizes that he isn't fast, but he also isn't... slow.

Not being a burner didn't slow down a starting back like David Walker, who was also... slow.

David Walker was twice as fast as Devin. That’s kind of insulting to David

And whoever referenced Jerry Rice, I think that was a myth- Jerry Rice was pretty fast. Emmitt Smith I think was also pretty fast in reality. But I get the point. At the RB position tho they pretty much want you to run fast. I’m only saying this as an explanation of why he may not have more offers, that’s all.

Supposedly he ran a 4.58 40-yard dash at the NFL combine.

The good news is that we have a world class S&C program with Edinger who use the latest techniques.

They will help this young man gain some speed and keep his power. Along with giving him some cardio.

I would bet he earns a scholarship before all is said and done.
