Class of 2023 RB T.J. Conley (NY: Fayetteville-Manlius)

I was at the game Friday night at FM. Probably had not been back since I graduated. I understand the level of competition is not too high, but TJ was by far the best player on the field. There were a couple of good players both sides, but the difference in the game is TJ. He's tall for a running back and has long strides and really good speed. Also very instinctual with the ball and just knows where the lane is. Returned the second half kick 90 yards for a TD where he probably ran a hell of a lot more yards than that as he weaved between sidelines and outran the defenders.

Agreed kids his size can play safety, slot, wideout and other positions. I don’t understand why SU would have second thoughts offering a talented legacy.

This situation reminds me of when Belichick drafted Edeleman. Belichick told him "I'm not sure how I will use you, but you are a football player." Conley is a football player.
