Re Clemson and it's fans, Is it just me...?

Or have Clemson fans been among the most gracious "big time" opposing fans we have had the pleasure of going to battle with?

Particularly in contrast to the behaviors we've seen among the fans of our most recent opponent.

From the day of the game and at the tailgate...met so many classy fans who made the trip up north...to the posts immediately following after the game...all the way to these congratulatory posts on the board here today?

Entering the ACC i had penned Clemson about as polar opposite as you could get from Syracuse, but now, sitting here at the conclusion of our inaugural ACC season, I am totally impressed by the team and it's fans.

Wishing them luck in their coming game, and look forward to playing them in the years to come.

Disagree here….they are truly great and gracious to everyone. Wins and loses do not change their behavior. And we will start beating/competing with them!!!!!

Both they and FSU fans have been nothing but classy so far. I'm sure it'll change a bit if we can actually start being a threat to them, but even so its been a good start to a new conf. Part of it also has to be that we came in and at least earned our keep with a respectable conf record and beating an 8 win B1G team. If we can laid a 3-9 season we'd probably not be as welcome.

I'd update it to "most" Clemson fans. Close to our game their were a few dolts posting here. (Not to mention their forum was a pig trough).

The ones that have stuck around have been awesome though.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I try to treat people like I would want to be treated. Its kind of mixed when it comes to South Carolina since they are our rivals but we have family and friends who are SC fans. Of course we still have a few douche frat boy fans here and there but so does every fan base. Hope you guys have a good year and hope to see a ton of you in Death Valley next year. I promise you wont regret the trip.

Planning on it (only a 2-hour drive for me)... it'll all depend on a possible divisional realignment.

No FSU for sure. Clemson fans I met after that game had some other things to say about our university. However, there were some respectful ones I guess. As a resident of South Carolina for 2 months wait to see what happens when we start beating Clemson they will not be too kind

The worst football fans in the ACC have always been Maryland and MooU (AKA NCSU) fans.

I tend to like Clemson fans.
