Really impressed

One more good Fast Times trivia nugget...you can stump people at the Thanksgiving table...

Name the 80s comedy to feature three future Best Oscar Academy Award winners?

Answer: Fast Times (Sean Penn, Forrest Whitaker and Nicholas Cage (credited in Fast Times as Nicholas Coppola)

Did not know that! Such a hilarious movie.

Pamela Springsteen is in several scenes, most notably the lame pep rally. She's the curly-haired brunette, who's standing next to the annoying blonde cheerleader, who gives the speech that draws crickets.

If we can keep CJ, Jerami, Ennis, and Cooney healthy and out of suspensions we will be a serious Final 4 contender once again. Obviously around here those things aren't give ins
I don't want to jinx it...but there doesn't seem to be any..."attitude"...problems among this years team.

Yeah but stuff seems to happen out of the blue with this team. I agree with what you said... But shite happens. Fingers crossed this year, shite doesn't happen.

By the way, SoBeCuse, I'm mystified why you don't have more likes in your ledger. You're one of the best posters on the board. So... paging Mr. Tee... Tee, you've got some work to do.

Some people are stingy with "likes" for posters that ever once posted something they did not like. It s a weird phenomenon.

I like the scene with the blonde cheerleader. She says "right? RIGHT?".

I'm not saying that its all going to shake out every game, but when we have CJ, Grant, Cooney, and Ennis all as legit scoring threats, with the bigs as complimentary players, we're going to be tough to defend / defeat. CJ and Grant are both incredibly difficult matchups; when they're firing on all cylinders, they are as good as any forward combo in the nation--and probably the most versatile tandem.

Grant, Ennis, and Cooney took huge steps in Maui along their respective developmental curves.

Best offensive execution in the half court I have seen from a Syracuse team in a long team.

Spacing: check
Hit the roller on the pnr: check.
Going back door on the overplay: check.
Bigs passing high low: check.
Slowing the ball up when it's not there: check.
Midrange shot selection: check.

For a team not exactly known for its organization and effectiveness in the half court, that was nice to see last night.

Based on my Twitter feed rest of ACC a mixture of excitement/ and dread at thought of playing Syracuse.

Good performance. Really good. Team effort and if Ennis, Cooney, Fair, and Grant are this solid moving forward then we will be very solid. Rak being engaged early was big.

This is a very good win. Baylor has athletes and shooters and I was surprised how much fight they had in them when things were slipping away from them. Really like Jefferson. You can see why he was a McD PF. JB still has it. He had our guys ready to go. Bravo!

This. It is really good to see us look strong from the opening tips of both halves, and not just this game. It shows we have an attitude of confidence and aggressiveness, playing OUR game instead of reacting to THEIRS.
