Rebuilding a program is a difficult process

Tough day today, Orange fans. I had a feeling that something like this would happen, based on my experience as a fan back when LSU was coming back from the abyss. Upset wins were very often followed by flat performances, as everybody spent a lot of time reflecting back on the victory instead of getting ready for the next game. One of the first things Nick Saban focused on when he took over was instituting a 24 hour rule, where he insisted that everyone (coaches, players and fans) had just 24 hour to relish a win, before getting ready for the next game. The big problem is changing the mindset of players and fans, so that wins are the expected outcome of the game.

Syracuse can still turn things around and pull off victories in any of their remaining four games, getting the team a bowl berth for the second year in a row.
