I was wondering how we might finish up the class of '12 or if you feel as the staff is going to carry scholarships over to the next year? '13 looks like a big class same for '14. I think it is scary that we are already looking at '15. Speaks of the level of our program. I think we can be categorized as an elite program.

Speaking of the '13 class, I was wondering what your thoughts of landing the Tilton Trio (Brantley, Noel, Goodluck).

Has the staff looked at Julius Randle?

Looks to be very dominate. Great body, handles the ball well for a boy his size, left handed. Looks like a one and done and a UK type player. I haven't heard anything about this kid on the SU front.

It is going to be interesting to see who stays and goes on the current roster. I think we have as good of a shot as any to win a championship this year which will go a long ways for recruiting. Although we have down played our #1 ranking it is very important on the home front. With the ranking brings the fair weather fans and possibly bigger TV (although I just got home from Memphis and it baffels me how I can find BFE U so easily but not SU). The more 30k + games we have at home the more it helps recruiting both for football and basketball. Kids won't see crowds like that in the pro's.

This year we loose Scoop and KJ. Possible losses are Melo and DW. I doubt if they stay all 4.

Guard returning will be: Cooney (FR) , Triche(SR), MCW(SP)
If DW returns starters: Triche (SR), DW(JR)
Possible: DW
I think we could take a guard this class and next. MCW development is going to be interesting to watch and could up the need for guards.

SF returning: JS (SR), CJ (JR),
Starter: CJ
Incoming: Grant
I could see us adding one next year. I like Goodluck with Noel in the zone. I see Grant as a shooter and Goodluck as more of an athlete high energy guy. Goodluck needs to develop his outside game. I think the big recruit we want for '14 is Vonleh

PF returning:Xmas (SP), JS (SR), CJ (JR)
Starter: XMas
I think JS and CJ are historically SF but SU and our zone changes this classification. I would like to see us develop a classic PF with a "back to the basket" game ala Hak, Ricky, Coleman, Wallace. I think Xmas could be this guy. I see Noel be a PF here. I think we take one next year and one the year after. Walker would be a great #2 target. I like McCullough here at '14

Center returning: BK(JR), Xmas(SP)
If Melo returns: Melo if not BK or Coleman with minimum minutes most minutes BK
Incoming: Coleman
Possible: Melo (JR)
I see Coleman playing here two years. I don't see him being good enough for one and done and could see him with and Onaku like experience here 4 years. I can see XMas sliding over to the 5 if we need him to, but I think he is mostly entrenched at the 4. If Melo stays another year we are fine here, if he leaves we are going to be very light. I see BK improving and starting if not play the most minutes if we lose Melo. Coleman might start but BK will get the bulk of minutes like Xmas this year. I think we take one C next year. I think we take Anya as a C and Noel as a 4.

If Melo and DW stay, we should be one of the favorites to win it all in '13 also. It is going to be interesting to see howour recruits develop and if we can continue to be one of the favorites in '14. Again if the two stay watch out, but I think that happening is about the same chance of keeping Chandler for next year.

I must admit that I am very excited about our coaching staff. I don't see us skipping a beat when JB retires. He is SU basketball and has created a program that we should be proud to support. He is leaving us with an awesome stable of young coaches who are passionate, intellgent, and expereinced in both the game and what it means to be an Orangeman. I see our program either remaining where it is as a top teir program or even advance to be year in and year out the cream of the crop. The final recruit will be who is Hops first coaching hire. I would love to see Murphy as assistant HC. He is such a great family man, coach, citizen, and person. He was dearly loved by the players and is greatly missed. I doubt that will happen though.

It is good to be an Orange!

we may be the favorite for this year's NC...good analysis but would not worry about MCW...he is going to be the real thing...most important factor is who leaves next year aside from Scoop and KJ...does Melo and/or Waiters go...I believe Melo may...not worried about recruiting anyone else for '12...class of '13 will depend on who actually stays next year and projected to leave in '13

Not worried about how MCW will develop. I think he has the potential to be one of the top SU guards. Focused on recruiting, depending on his development, I am looking at how long he might be here and who we might bring in to fill the void. Whitehead is a '14 and more of a SG. I amnot sold on Ennis. Brantley reminds me off Flyn, short but fearlessly goes to the rim. I have not seen enough of Coony's game to determine if he could be a PG.

In play with everybody that you've mentioned besides Randle. Not much is left in the 2012 class but anything is possible. Still confident about SU having a monster 2013/14 class.
