This is awesome BTW. Like do we think Jim went up to Buddy's room and politely knocked on the door to officially pitch him?

Plus, free sneakers, use of a car, and the SU coach bought his mom a house. Tons of violations.

Definitely an athlete who fits our profile more than a finished product.

But he's athletic as shiz and a lefty. PLUS he grew several inches this summer, so he's growing into his frame.

How's that for rationalization?

The lefty thing is no joke, imo. I really think these kids are so few lefties that it buys you a few points a game.

I'm with you. I think we tend to fall in love with guys we get quite often and I wonder sometimes if Roberts isn't an example of this. Roberts is intriguing but if he were to go elsewhere I wouldn't be devestated. I think they'd be able to replace him.

I don't claim to be particularly good at evaluating and I think it's are tougher than guards and swing guys, but I just don't watch Roberts and get wowed by what I see.
