Malachi Richardson vs Franklin Howard at the 8 tournament in Vegas. Richardson leads all scorers with 21pts on 7-9 shooting and 6-6 from the line. Howard led his team with 14pts and 5rbs in the loss.

They call BJ a combo forward, and that Tyler brings something that BJ and Roberson don't bring...shooting. They obviously know nothing of BJ, and that is understandable, they will know him after this season.

When I went up to observe practice last October, I was very impressed with how Roberson shot the ball. VERY impressed. I expect him to make the sophomore leap--all the tools are there. Him not being able to participate in the Canadian tour, summer school to get acclimated, and then getting a late start fall semester really set him back.

I'm in the same boat. I think Bryant will be a productive player but not a star, though if he signs I sure hope he develops into one. Something about Jones just screams to me that he is going to be special. I think his shooting ability is underrated also as people think he is just an athlete but I see him as the prototypical three that carries us deep. Another great problem to have, give me either of them...just wish we could have both but I do really want Jones.

Same here. Hell, Vince Carter was strictly a dunker in H.S. and for much of his UNC career. Now you can discuss a potential HOF for him. Even if his ceiling is Jeff Trepagnier, a guy I watched live in school who was so exciting at USC on those good teams from 1999-2001; I'd take him.

Recent updates. The D. Jones fan club can check him out on ESPNU at 7pm today in the Adidas Nations event. Diagne was on the same team but hurt his ankle after the 1st game. Nothing too serious, he's going to be fine.

I have to assume like Diagne that he must have suffered an injury and was held out of the final game.
