Until NC State we are in must win territory. Arguably you could say that until UNC we are in must win territory. A loss to FSU is much worse than a loss to Hofstra. So in jest as it may be via parody there is truth as well.

We are climbing out of a 4 year hole and that means we have to get some clearance and to higher ground to re establish respect. It won’t be as simple as just getting into the 50s in the NET even if we sit at 13-5. Arguably we need to be in the thirties with 3 or 4 Q1 wins and not a single additional Q3 or worse loss

need 21-22 wins to be off the bubble, 25 to be comfortable. It's going to be challenging unless we can keep up the momentum. Win out and that #1 seed will be there for the taking!

Not saying anything profound here, but this is just so much better than last year. Last year at this point we were .500 and the season was literally over at the turn of the new year if not sooner. It was basically just going through the motions waiting for the year to be over.

We obviously have a lot of work to do to put together a tourney resume, but it feels so good to still be playing meaningful basketball right now.

It also feels like we are getting better - and that starts with Donnie - who is playing far better than anyone could have expected - he looks like Wallace the last couple of games

While I am always a fan who enjoys the games, outside of ISU I have enjoyed this team. Nothing comes easy but with Donnie we are a good team. For the most part we play hard, we have flaws. That being said the athleticism is awesome. Just wish we still had Copeland to go with the present group. Kyle has replaced him as our highlight reel guy.

I thought the same thing - looking like senior year Wallace out there. Complete offensive game, inside / outside and knows how good he is. He calmly answered the bell every time when we needed a counter to Pitt's momentum. Giddy up!

Agreed. He is playing like an absolute beast and a first round draft pick. This is the Donnie Freeman we were all hoping for.
