Red’s Last Stand - Pittsburgh Game

This is going to be a brutal flu season. A lot of hospitals right now are at or over capacity. It sounds like the flu shot this year is only marginally effective against this A(H3N2) strain.

Might be better off doing a virtual poker tourney via PokerStars and Zoom.
We've started to wear masks again when we go anywhere where we'll be inside.

I was tinkering around with StubHub the other day, and almost accidentally bought tickets in the Pitt student section. That would have been beyond embarrassing and annoying.
Or, aggressive. You know, like when we were all young and invincible aggressive. ;)

This old fan says you exercised sound judgment when you passed on the student section tickets.

But many agree with you...

I like Red, he is a decent coach for other levels and may grow into an elite coach. I have not seen he has everything together to be an elite coach now or even soon.
Is he a decent coach for other levels?

This could be Reds last night as Syracuse BBall coach...everything is on the line for him...Does he stick to his guns and play JJ for 37 minutes...would you trust JJ with your career on the line?

I've had what I think is the flu for over 2 and a half weeks. I did get a flu shot so I think it prevented me from being really sick as I know some people have been. From what I've heard this year it is taking many different forms. Mine started with waking up one morning with very stiff neck on my right side. When about 3 days later it started moving to my shoulder and my back I figured it wasn't a muscle issue but a bug. Then it went to my ears, first one then the other and then both. Then a head cold. I've not been sick sick, didn't need to stay in bed, but just achiness. The flu is very prevalent right now in South Florida. I've heard that it generally takes 3 weeks to get over. I'm glad I got the shot and wasn't sicker. But it's been a nuisance. I think I'm slowly getting over it now. Good luck to everyone. Stay away from other people.

Hope you feel better soon!

Literally no result of this game would surprise me. I could see either team winning comfortably by double figures, or either team winning a nailbiter.
I think, now that Freeman is back, we are a much more talented team, and will win. The question in my mind is if we make it a close game which we must grind our way to victory, or if we finally put it all together and blow their doors off.

Freeman will be in his third game back, which to me provides hope that not only is all his rust gone, but that the team will have acclimated to his return and will perform even a step above their "good" game at Georgia Tech.

One of our hospitals is now requiring masks inside the buildings. I also often wear a mask in the grocery store. Hand sanitizer etc. But not when playing Mahjongg at a restaurant. Just in places where people are more likely to be ill and out and about.

Good call!
Thanks, I just think we're rolling right now, especially against lower tier acc teams. What excites me is the fact that we're not even close to playing solid complete games. We're leaving a lot of meat on the bone. Regardless, I like this team.

I think we're going to come up short on 12-6 unfortunately. I see more like 11-7 and then needing to win a couple games in the acc tournament. Even with that, we likely sweat on selection sunday.
